Dear Residents,
The Ocean County Health Department has opened a drive thru COVID-19 testing site that will be open to Ocean County residents at Ocean County College in Toms River. The hours of operation are from 9Am to 3PM and you must have a registered appointment. Residents must be registered to be tested and have proper identification along with a doctor’s prescription for the test. It has been relayed to me that all test results will be available within three to five days to those tested. The Ocean County Health Department urges you to see your physician first to get tested if you are able to do so.
The Ocean County Sheriff’s Department will be handling security and traffic control at the site while staff from local hospitals will be administering the test. This will not be a general health screening, they will only be testing for the Novel Coronavirus, COVID-19
