Borough of Point Pleasant – We’ve been getting a lot of questions about Halloween this year and we thought we would pass along some information and safety tips from the NJ Department of Health so that you and your families can enjoy a healthy and safe Halloween.

Halloween this year is Saturday October 31st, 2020 and Trick-or-Treating is allowed.  The Borough of Point Pleasant does not restrict Trick-or-Treating to any specific hours during the day on Halloween.  However, the Borough does have a curfew in place per ordinance prohibiting anyone under 17 years old from being out in a public or quasi-public place without a parent or guardian on October 29th, 30th and 31st between the hours of 9PM and 6AM.  Also, it is recommended that if you are going to accommodate Trick-or-Treaters, you should leave your porch light on as a sign that Trick-or-Treaters are welcomed.

If you are going to participate in Trick-or-Treating, going to a Halloween Party or any number of other Halloween Festivities, we recommend that you click here for some Halloween Safety Tips from the NJ Department of Health in regards to COVID-19 precautions you can take to ensure you and your loved ones have a safe and “Spook-tacular” Halloween Night.
