Borough of Point Pleasant – Mayor Sabosik along with Council President Borowsky and Council members DePaola, Snyder and Thulen attended the groundbreaking for the Heritage Park improvements in the Lovelandtown section of Point Pleasant. This ageing and outdated park on Howe Street is being turned into a “boundless” playground where special needs children can interact with mainstream children on ADA accessible equipment. There will be two areas with equipment designed for younger and older children. This inclusive environment will also have a new basketball court and other amenities. Construction should be completed by the end of April. Mayor and Council will be improving the Recreation Center playground next as part of their initiative of updating and improving our aging parks.
