Borough of Point Pleasant – Beginning January 1, 2017, our curbside single stream recycling regulations will be strictly enforced. Please see below for what is acceptable and unacceptable for curbside recycling. Cans cannot exceed 50 lbs. in weight and must have lids. We strongly recommend that you use 33 gallon containers. Recycling stickers are available at all Borough offices and the Arthur Avenue recycling Center. All material must fit inside the container. Cardboard needs to be cut down to fit inside the container. All oversized cardboard must be taken to the Recycling center on Arthur Avenue. Plastic bags are not permitted in the container, or to be used as receptacles for recycling. Shredded paper is not to be put out with curbside recycling. Shredded paper needs to be bagged and taken to the Recycling Center.

Please familiarize yourself with the information below so that we are in compliance with the Ocean County Recyclable Materials Processing Facility requirements. Please call us at 732-892-1287 with any questions. Help us continue our successful recycling program in 2017. Thank you for your cooperation. Happy Holidays from the Point Pleasant Public Works Department.
