Borough of Point Pleasant – The Water Department will begin its routine flushing of water mains starting on Wednesday May 21st and continue for approximately six (6) weeks. This operation will take place Monday through Friday from 8AM until 4PM.
Residents can expect discolored water during this time. The discoloration will clear up as we move out of your area. Please refrain from washing clothes until your water runs clear.
This operation allows us an opportunity to check the function of all the Borough’s fire hydrants and is necessary to flush out the water mains in order to provide the best quality water year round to our residents.
