Borough of Point Pleasant – Mayor Sabosik and the Borough Council joined with 9 other Mayors from the Northern Barrier Island in Ocean County to form the Barrier Island Mayors’ Flood Consortium. The goal is to look at flood mitigation efforts on a regional basis since all the surrounding towns face the same issues from the same sources. This group was also awarded an Achievement in Planning Award from the NJ Planning Officials.
