DOGS and CATS
Any animal 6 months of age or older is required to have a license. The animal must have a valid rabies vaccination through November 1st of the current year in order to license the dog or cat. Written verification of rabies is required. A new animal in the Borough that is 6 months of age or older must be licensed within 30 days.

1 YEAR LIC. DOG SPAY/NEUTERED: $ 12.00 +LATE FEE $ 5.00 EACH AFTER JANUARY 31st ++
DOG NON-SPAY/NEUTERED: $ 15.00 +LATE FEE $ 5.00 EACH AFTER JANUARY 31st ++
3 YEAR LICENSE RABIES VALID THROUGH NOVEMBER 1st, 2024
3 YEAR LIC. DOG SPAY/NEUTERED: $ 33.00 +LATE FEE $ 5.00 EACH AFTER JANUARY 31st ++
DOG NON-SPAY/NEUTERED: $ 42.00 +LATE FEE $ 5.00 EACH AFTER JANUARY 31st ++

$5.00 LATE FEE is due for each Dog / Cat RENEWAL after January 31st
Residents MAY NOT keep or maintain more than four (4) Dogs or Cats or a combination of dogs, cats or (1) pot-bellied pig.
A non-resident may not keep a dog within the Borough for a period longer than 60 days.
ANIMAL WASTE
All dogs must be curbed by the person so controlling same. The owner of every animal shall be responsible for the removal of any excreta deposited by his animal on public walks, recreation areas, or private property. (Ord. #715, S 8)
