Detective Bureau
The Point Pleasant Police Department Detective Bureau consists of a Detective Lieutenant as the Bureau Commander and an Investigative staff of 3 Detectives. The Detective Bureau is responsible for the investigation of crimes committed within the jurisdiction of Point Pleasant. Detectives receive specialized training, and have expertise in the investigation of crimes, including but not limited to violations of narcotics/drug laws, robbery, burglary and firearms violations. The Professional Standards Unit, Juvenile Unit and School Resource Officers all fall within the scope of the Detective Bureau.
